Summary About the Position: Serves as a Operations Specialist (Special Programs) for the US Army Special Operations Command at Fort Liberty, NC Responsibilities Interprets basic guidelines and directives and adapts to achieve assigned mission. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized experience: One year f specialized experience which includes: 1.) Analyze, staff, coordinate, and manage special control measures and support systems' operational and support taskings. 2.) Maintains liaison relationship with the interagency, to include components of the Intelligence Community, and higher HQ 3.) Coordinates, staffs, and manages classified requirements for Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs) and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs).4.) Responsible for implementation of special projects and the operations of a special operations cell with the Division. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next/second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Planning and Evaluating Strategic Thinking Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone, no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
