THE POSITION: The Recording Specialist manages administrative tasks related to departmental functions, including recording, data entry, research, license issuance, and passport acceptance. They must have strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills, handling cashiering and payments. Senior Recorders are also responsible for adhering to State and Federal statutes, reviewing documents for data accuracy, and collecting up to $2 million in recording fees annually.

- $18.43 to $20.10 per hour depending on experience
- Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm

DO YOU QUALIFY?
- Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2 years of experience?
- Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver's license and are you insurable?
- Can you obtain a Passport Acceptance Agent Certification from the U.S. Government & become a notary?
- Per code Federal Regulations, Title 22 Chapter I Subchapter F 5122, Passport Acceptance Agent Must Be:
- A U.S. citizen or a U.S. non-citizen national
- 18 years of age or older
- A permanent employee, excluding ad hoc, contractual, and volunteer employees; AND
- not have a record of either:
- A Federal or State felony conviction OR
- A misdemeanor conviction for crimes involving moral turpitude or breach of trust including but not limited to embezzlement, identity theft, misappropriation, document fraud, drug offenses or dishonesty in carrying out a responsibility involving public trust.
