An established and flourishing law firm is seeking a seasoned Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent position offering an opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and work within a team of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of trust and estate law, including estate planning, administration, and litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in trust and estate law who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation. 2. Drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate tax returns. 3. Representing clients in court and other legal proceedings involving trust and estate disputes. 4. Conducting thorough legal research to support case preparation and ensure the most effective representation of our clients. 5. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to case management. 6. Keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases and responding promptly to their inquiries and concerns. 7. Staying updated on changes in trust and estate law and adapting strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney position should have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on trust and estate law. 3. Admission to the state bar. 4. Demonstrable experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and litigation. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective legal strategies. 7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. 8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. 9. Proficiency in legal research software and other relevant computer applications. 10. A commitment to providing outstanding client service.
