Electrical Field Service Engineer

Job Description Hiring a Field Service Engineer to support water and wastewater treatment plants by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining control panels, PLCs, HMIs, valves, pumps, motors, VFDs, and related systems. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, wiring schematics, and diagrams to ensure proper system functionality. The position involves approximately 50% travel to various facilities.
Job Responsibilities
Install, test, and troubleshoot control panels, PLCs, HMIs, valves, pumps, motors, VFDs, and electrical systems. Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical diagrams. Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure operational efficiency at water and wastewater treatment facilities. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver timely and effective solutions. Provide technical support and training to facility staff when needed.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. Proven experience with control systems, PLCs, HMIs, valves, pumps, motors, and VFDs. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and diagrams. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
The salary is $33-$42/hr DOE and overtime available. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.
