Mercy Flights is Hiring a Part Time Accounting Specialist!

Join Mercy Flights as an Accounting Specialist and play a vital role in our finance team! We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to independently manage various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, cash deposits, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounts payable process by reconciling vendor statements, coding and entering invoices, and processing payments.
• Administer expense management systems, including employee credit cards.
• Prepare accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
• Process payroll payments, ensuring accurate deductions for taxes, insurance, and garnishments.
• Manage cash deposits, petty cash, and maintain up-to-date financial and payroll records.
• Assist with external reviews, audits, and benefit plan administration.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; a two-year accounting degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or payroll; 5 years preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting and payroll software.
