Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner Manager to join our team in New York City. As the HRBP Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the organization, collaborating with department heads at both the field and corporate levels. This role will serve as a complete center of excellence for the entire organization, driving HR initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. Develop and implement HR plans and solutions to achieve organizational goals. Develop a strong understanding of each business and the wholistic organizational ecosystem. Build strong relationships with leaders and work towards workforce planning e.g., benchmarking, succession planning. Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to department heads on employee relations matters. Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach. Consult with legal counsel to ensure appropriate resolution and escalation of employment law matters. Talent Acquisition and Management: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute effective recruitment strategies. Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires. Develop and implement talent management strategies to nurture employee growth and development. Performance Management: Assess current policy & procedure programs to ensure compliance with company’s mission and federal/local requirements. Implement and manage performance management processes. Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and career development. Training and Development: Identify training needs across the organization and collaborate with leaders to address them. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Total Rewards and Benefits: Administer and enhance the organization's compensation and benefits programs. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure a competitive total rewards package. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Mitigate HR-related risks and proactively address legal and compliance issues. Employee Engagement: Work with leadership to implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Conduct surveys and gather feedback to continuously improve the workplace experience. HR Analytics: Utilize HR analytics to measure and report on key HR metrics e.g., performance management, retention and turnover, EEO & DE&I metrics. Provide insights to leadership for informed decision-making to support business growth. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in the fashion or retail industry. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives and influence positive change. Strategic thinker with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
