Junior Construction Estimator

We are seeking a thorough and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in calculating costs and assessing potential gains for construction projects. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication will be essential. Responsibilities : Collect and analyze data related to construction projects, considering various variables. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other team members. Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects across all divisions. Negotiate contracts and manage work orders. Supervise maintenance issues related to ongoing projects. Qualifications : Experience : A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience as a construction estimator. Commercial General Contractor (G.C.) Experience : Proficiency in estimating across all divisions of commercial construction. Software Skills : PlanSwift : Familiarity with this takeoff and estimating software. Procore : Experience using Procore for project management and collaboration. BuildingConnected : Knowledge of this platform for bid management and subcontractor communication. Microsoft Excel : Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and cost calculations. Bluebeam : While not mandatory, compatibility with Bluebeam is a plus. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Additional Skills : Excellent attention to detail. Strong numerical and analytical abilities. Effective communication skills.
