International Trade Attorney

We are seeking a mid-level/senior-level International Trade Associate to work in our Washington D.C. office. The mid-level/senior-level associate will have 3 - 8 years (classes 2017 - 2022) of U.S. international trade law experience. Candidates should have experience in U.S. trade policy, export control, customs, and sanctions-related matters of law and government agencies, such as (The Office of Export Enforcement (OEE), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Exon–Florio Amendment (EFA), and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Compliance counseling, licensing, voluntary disclosures, and enforcement defense are a plus. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, Am Law 100 firm experience, and superb writing and communication skills. Washington D.C. Bar is required. All candidates must be in the top 25% of their graduating class and graduated from one of the top 50 U.S. law schools. Candidates must have worked for a well-known law firm unless noted otherwise in the job description. We require candidates to have a cover letter, resume, transcript, and writing sample/deal sheet/representative matters list.
