We are seeking a

Microsoft Azure Systems Administrator

to implement, maintain, and support our growing corporate and Information Technology infrastructure within a Microsoft Office M365 GCC High environment. You will be part of the Information Technology Operations team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available Information Technology Systems that meet business objectives and service requirements.

This position can be based out of any ARKA sites including Danbury, CT, Aurora, CO, Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA.

Responsibilities:

Recommending, building, and establishing processes and procedures to maintain enterprise systems in multiple environments.

Recommending, selecting, and implementing security policies, procedures, and tools in conjunction with the company’s security team.

Design, implement, and manage cloud-based applications using Azure services.

Write and maintain scripts for automation and deployment.

Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.

Managing and maintaining Data Center systems and Enterprise Applications to include VMWare host, NetApp storage, Windows and Linux servers and various management applications.

Monitoring system performance, utilization, and trending to ensure system availability, reliability, redundancy and sufficient capacity.

Administrating and maintaining system software to support the system environment (upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, backups and security configurations).

Providing Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network and server infrastructure.

Coordinating support and maintenance activities with outside vendors and contractors.

Working with users and other personnel for problem resolution.

Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:

3-5+ years of systems administration experience in the following areas:

Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft and other Cloud environments such as:

Microsoft Office M365 GCC High is required.

Experience in migrating to GCC High is a plus.

Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.

Write and maintain scripts for automation and deployment.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with:

Microsoft Active Directory and GPO management.

Intune and Entra ID.

Microsoft single sign on.

Outlook.

Knowledge of an array of Enterprise compute systems such as:

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Ansible or Terraform.

Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Develop Infrastructure as Code to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

VMWare Horizons VDI architectures.

Veeam system backup implementations.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with monitoring, diagnostic, analytics, and administration tools such as:

Microsoft MECM.

PDQ Automation Software.

Nagios Network and Server monitoring.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with systems integrations and automation techniques such as:

Powershell.

This position is based out of ARKA’s nature abundant

Aurora, CO

campus. Being situated at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Aurora provides opportunities to enjoy all the beautiful nature that Colorado has to offer, while also being a 20-minute drive from downtown Denver and 15-minutes to the Denver International Airport.

This position is based out of ARKA’s

Colorado Springs, CO

This position is based out of ARKA’s

Danbury, CT

facility. Located in beautiful Fairfield County, Danbury offers a diverse economy, wonderful parks, cultural attractions, and a vibrant arts scene.

This position is based out of ARKA’s

King of Prussia, PA

campus. Situated less than an hour outside of Philadelphia and hosting the largest mall on the east coast, King of Prussia offers the urban feel sought in the city.

This position can be remote, with the preference to be nearby an ARKA office site.
