Job Overview A well-established law firm specializing in health care litigation is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its general liability defense group. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment, handling a high volume of cases involving real estate, construction, and general liability litigation. Location Woburn, MA Duties Handle a high volume of general liability litigation cases, including real estate and construction disputes Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs Represent clients in court and during depositions Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case status and strategy Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, construction, or general liability Strong verbal communication and writing skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Willingness to handle a high-volume caseload Admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or willingness and eligibility to obtain admission Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications Active Massachusetts Bar License (or ability to obtain one) Skills Proficient in legal research and case analysis Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases efficiently Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Proficient in legal software and document management systems Benefits Comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance Reasonable billing requirements Hybrid work options available Opportunity for career growth and advancement
