Litigation Associate Attorney

Little Falls office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate attorney with 1-3 years of legal experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing professional legal counsel and representation for various litigation matters. The responsibilities include: Communicating with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Conducting legal research, preparing for, and attending meetings and/or other legal proceedings with senior attorneys. Maintaining client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Rendering appropriate day-to-day oral and written legal advice. Researching and preparing formal and informal memoranda, pleadings, trial and appellate briefs, resolutions, and legal and general correspondence. Supporting attorneys in preparing for hearings including witness preparation, document revision, and preparing settlement agreements. Performing other related duties as assigned. Must be admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey. Admission to practice law in the State of New York is a plus. Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in applicable computer programs (Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite).
