UI/UX Designer

to improve the appearance and usability of products for our federal customer. Ultimately, you'll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients' unique training needs. US CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE REQUIRED Responsibilities

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. Design graphic elements and navigation components. Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets. Build page navigation buttons and search fields. Develop UI prototypes to demonstrate functionality to internal team and stakeholders. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and adjust. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images. Work with wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision) and design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior. Please note that the duties listed above are not exhaustive, and the successful candidate may be required to perform additional tasks as needed. Qualifications

Must be US citizen with ability to obtain federal clearance (DHS CBP). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer working with the government. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with design software and wireframe tools. Ability to quickly prototype solutions. Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Proven experience with web/mobile applications.
