WHO YOU ARE: The Adult Education and Literacy department is seeking a Program Specialist IV to play a critical role in ensuring the successful administration of the Adult Education and Literacy statewide program. The ideal candidate leverages excellent writing and strong research skills to ensure policies are accurate and easily understood by internal and external stakeholders. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Program Specialist IV performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Perform an array of technical, training, research, planning, policy, program assessment, and administrative activities for assigned program(s). -Coordinate and collaborate with program staff in program planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of agency program(s). -Coordinate and conduct surveys, inspections, or reviews to determine compliance with certification requirements, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. -Market program(s) to community and professional groups to encourage interest in programs and to secure support for the program(s). -Coordinate and review the evaluation of service delivery system methods, outputs, activities, and trends to identify gaps in resources and recommends and implements improvements to resolve technical problems. - Perform other duties as assigned.
