We are moving our headquarters to Eagan in 2025! This role is based at our current HQ in Bloomington but will move to Eagan in 2025.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in overall administration, estimating, and project support for construction and account related electrical projects

Assist Project Manager in supervising the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.

Accurately estimate labor, materials, and administrative costs for assigned projects.

Accurately interpret the design drawings and specifications submitted by engineers.

Have a good understanding of design build and skill set to develop conceptual information.

Utilize estimating software and Bluebeam to properly estimate project.

Maintain and develop good customer relations.

Support the Project Manager through the project process.

Assist in preparing, processing and maintaining all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, billing, etc. necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.

$65,000 - $85,000 + discretionary bonus + employee ownership + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, construction management.

National Electrical Code knowledge/experience.

Drawing/blueprint reading and specification experience.

Basic Microsoft Excel and Word computer skills.

Experience with computerized estimating preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong work ethic, good attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Valid driver’s license required.

PHYSICAL REQUREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment, while occasionally visiting construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.

This position may occasionally operate at an industrial job site and be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and noise.

Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.

This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.

This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
