Position Description
Key responsibilities include developing content and materials for programs such as Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Talent Strategy, and Talent Philosophy. This position will also focus on storytelling around talent initiatives, producing innovative ways to communicate our talent progress, both internally and externally. Deliver content for program assets and components.
Position Accountabilities
Brings expertise in talent management to deliver and continuously improve our talent processes, using creativity to design and manage the process execution. Consult with Human Resources and business leaders on best practices for talent review, internal mobility, succession planning, and executive development to help ensure teammates' full potentials are realized, and to reduce attrition risk for AUB. Drive the development and execution of talent practices across the bank with a close focus on talent review, succession and development planning, and talent assessment strategies. Develop presentations and communications to ensure the stakeholders are consistently informed about next steps and the company is kept abreast of ongoing initiatives. Enhance and revisit senior level talent activities (Talent Reviews, Career Development materials, Career Development options aligned to skills and competencies, Internal Mobility, Cross-Functional visibility). Execute on succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust pipeline of internal talent for critical roles. Communicate with multiple stakeholders with concise, clear written and verbal methods. Enhance and revisit executive level talent activities (Talent reviews, Career development, Organizational Capacity planning). Become a SME on technology for Talent Management processes e.g., understand leader and teammate experience and recommend improvements. Establish frameworks and guidelines around development plans for high-potential employees to accelerate their growth and readiness for business-critical positions. Oversee assessment strategies to evaluate talent capabilities and potential, with an emphasis on senior-level, high potential managers. Collaborate closely with departmental leaders to align talent strategies with business objectives and future needs. Implement systems and tools to track and monitor talent data, ensuring insights are leveraged to inform decision-making.
Organizational Relationship
This position reports to the Head of Enterprise Talent.
Position Qualifications Education & Training
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience. 5+ years Human Resources experience. 3+ years' experience participating in talent management and succession planning processes. 3+ years' experience with program design and development. 3+ years' project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or related field. Certification in Instructional Design, Creating Leadership Development Programs or Talent Management.
Knowledge & Skills
Subject Matter Expertise in Talent Management programs and processes. Must have proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, and/or Prezi. Familiarity with Adobe Spark and Google Slides is a plus. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Analytical and reporting skills. Skilled in managing and thriving in complex, uncertain environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships. Ability to effectively prioritize and work productively with minimal supervision.
Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
