Summary This position is located at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Management Systems (OFMS), Program Management Division (PMD). The primary mission of the USPTO is to build for the future and promote U.S. competitiveness in the global marketplace by protecting and strengthening intellectual property rights world-wide. The OCFO supports this mission in the areas of procurement, corporate planning, and finance. Responsibilities The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.This position is telework eligible per agency and business unit discretion/policy. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). This position is for you if... You are committed to serving as an escalation point for task order managers as they monitor contractor performance. Your acquisition skills to provide guides the OFMS central contact point as they work with the OCIO and the OPB on OFMS budget execution matters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12 Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience developing and/or review statements of work (SOW) and/or Statement of Objectives (SOO); AND Experience completing and/or reviewing Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Education may not be substituted for experience at this grade level.
