Mission:

At Epiroc USA LLC, our Remanfacturing Buyer facilitates growth and profitability of the Remanufacturing Center in Tucson, AZ. Through strong commitment to the delivery of high- quality customer service, the successful candidate will ensure the timely and adequate supply of materials required for production for the Parts & Services Global Remanufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate, review, and adjust piece parts forecast for DC (supply planning)
  • Review component build schedule and ensure timely arrival of required materials.
  • Review, release and adjust due dates of DOs for piece parts to align with component build schedule.
  • Monitor status of backorder parts and coordinate with Inbound Replenishment team as required.
  • Manage consignment supplier agreements (review, analyze, and reconcile inventory as required.
  • Set up parts in RC warehouse in M3.
  • Create, Review, and match direct P.O. to invoices, and confirm payment for invoices related to direct P.O.
  • Manage, Monitor, and reduce aging inventory.
  • Review customer demands (DO / CO's) and request prioritization.
  • Responsible for the request of new Reman Global parts #'s and update master list.
  • Review forecast with Demand Planner deciding on seeding components.
  • Inventory control for Reman center on piece parts and components.
  • Responsible for all master data for PSD Reman items.
  • Other duties to be cross trained.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or related field, or relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Knowledge of remanufacturing processes and supply chain management
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate across all functions
  • Well organized and focused on continuous improvement - there is always a better way!
