Due to a high volume of customer inquiries, John Megel Ford has an immediate opening for a Business Development Agent. The Business Development Center operates at the heart of our dealership and is responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and assisting customers with scheduling service appointments. Responsibilities – BDC Agent:  

 

  • Direct customers to product information resources
  • Handle all Internet sales and service inquiries personally
  • Manage incoming and outgoing telephone activity, providing world-class service on every interaction
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Generate new customers for the sales and service department
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Will be on the phone and computer all day
  • Will be responsible for inbound phone calls and high volume of e-mail correspondence, checking e-mail frequently and responding to inquiries

 


Qualifications/Requirements – BDC Agent:

 

  • Strong communication skills, a pleasant phone demeanor and the highest level of customer service skills are a must.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Dealership Experience preferred
  • Telephone or retail sales and customer service is preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and energetic
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Needs great phone voice
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
