The Software Engineering Manager II will lead a larger team of software engineers and play a crucial role in managing more complex projects. Manage a team of mid to senior-level software engineers, providing guidance on complex technical challenges. Lead the planning, development, and delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align software development efforts with business objectives. Drive continuous improvement in software development practices, including code quality, testing, and deployment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and support team members in their career development. Assist in strategic planning for the software engineering department, including resource allocation and technology investments. Mentor and develop engineering talent. Requirements
5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership role. Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies. Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex software projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
