Join our team as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems! You'll be part of a versatile team managing the entire Cyber lifecycle, from governance and policy to accreditation, continuous monitoring, and incident response. Relocation assistance is available.
What You'll Experience:
Overseeing the Cyber lifecycle, including risk management, vulnerability analysis, and continuous monitoring. Ensuring compliance with government security requirements and DoD policies. Utilizing tools like Splunk, Nessus, and VMware for security monitoring and analysis. Conducting hands-on reviews and maintaining security configurations. What You Bring to the Table:
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and vulnerability analyses. Familiarity with IT government security standards like ICD 503, NISPOM, NIST, and DIACAP. Ability to provide RMF support and conduct security certification tasks. What Sets You Apart:
Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Windows commands and utilities. Expertise in security tools such as SCAP Compliance Checker and Clearswift. In-depth understanding of government IT security policies and directives. Hands-on experience with security accreditation and certification processes. Target salary range: USD $106,477.00/Yr. - USD $115,211.50/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
