Job Description: Join General Dynamics Mission Systems as an Cybersecurity Analyst in San Antonio, Texas. Contribute to cutting-edge technology supporting national defense and intelligence services. Collaborate with esteemed customers to develop solutions for high-stakes national security missions.
What You'll Experience:
Lead and participate in national-level security assessment and authorization (A&A) activities.
Analyze and troubleshoot security anomalies using network traffic, log files, and automated alerts.
Create and manage security documentation for accreditation activities.
Conduct continuous monitoring and vulnerability scanning to ensure system security.
Develop security policies and procedures and maintain network security platforms.
What You Bring to the Table:
Hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX command-line security audits.
Technical knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with IT government security standards (ICD 503, NISPOM, NIST, DIACAP, RMF).
Experience with security tools like Splunk, Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, Clearswift, and VMware.
Current CISSP certification preferred or other DoD 8570.1 IAM-II or IAT-III or above certification.
Experience with Incident Response procedures and reports.
Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting Cybersecurity documentation for classified programs.

Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all team members and across all teams
Workplace Options: This position is based 100% on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
Target salary range: USD $112,829.60/Yr. - USD $125,170.40/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a minimum of an active TS/SCI clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
