The Database Administrator will provide Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) support for applications, collaborating with application teams and other administrators to design RDBMS solutions. The role involves acting as the principal RDBMS solution designer for projects of varying complexity, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RDBMS-related initiatives, compliance, and system changes. Responsibilities Maintain strong RDBMS technical knowledge and contribute to solution design, departmental strategies, and resource allocation. Resolve problems, support systems development, and manage daily activities. Provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel to foster team growth. Conduct small group training sessions to enhance team proficiency and technical development. Serve as a technical representative on committees and ad-hoc projects as needed. Collaborate regularly with technology staff, application teams, leadership, and vendors. Qualifications Associate's degree and 6 years of RDBMS experience, or 8 years of combined education and work experience, including a minimum of 6 years RDBMS experience. Proficiency in SQL/Oracle, automation tools (IaC, Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD processes. Experience with RDBMS tools, large systems enhancements, and production problem resolution. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to connect disparate ideas into cohesive solutions. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. At least 3 years of experience with banking applications, frameworks, and RDBMS strategies. Mastery-level understanding of RDBMS tools and operating systems. Previous experience with banking RDBMS support and CAPPM. Proven ability to mentor and lead RDBMS project analysis, development, and tuning efforts. Strong understanding of business terminology and operational impacts of projects. Ability to encourage teamwork and serve as a role model. Location

depending on experience: $ 43.27 per hour is approximately ($90,000.00 per year) $ 62.50 per hour is approximately ($130,000.00 per year)
