Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a nonprofit organization located in Berkeley, California. This is a short term contract employment opportunity where the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for assisting with financial management and administration tasks.
This a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, onsite in Berkeley. The position is anticipated to last until around the end of February.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process and log donations received
• Assist with new year support and systems management tasks
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage financial spreadsheets
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service
• Perform accurate data entry tasks as required
• Manage email correspondence professionally and promptly
• Use Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for various administrative tasks
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills• Experience with data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, showcasing excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and email management
• Ability to create and manage presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Expertise in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
• Experience in scheduling appointments, demonstrating excellent organizational skills
