We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of accounting functions, including account reconciliation, accounts payable, and billing. This role is within an exciting restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately reconcile account balances on a consistent basis

• Efficiently process and manage accounts payable (AP)

• Oversee the billing process, ensuring all invoices are issued correctly

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records

• Assist with the preparation of P& L statements

• Manage the data entry process, ensuring all information is correctly inputted into the system

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring financial records are accurate.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), managing the flow of cash and financial commitments.

• Familiarity with Billing procedures, ensuring clients are billed accurately and promptly.

• Excellent Data Entry skills, maintaining and updating financial records.

• Competence in Invoice Processing, managing and monitoring invoicing procedures.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas.
