We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our manufacturing team in LAPEER, Michigan. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, addressing their needs through phone and email. You will also play a crucial role in order entry and assisting the scheduling team. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing their needs via phone calls and emails
• Accurately input customer orders into our system
• Collaborate with the scheduling team as needed
• Uphold a high standard of customer service at all times
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Maintain a high level of independence in your work
• Ensure all customer data is accurately recorded and maintained.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette
• Exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record of handling customer queries and complaints effectively
• Adequate experience in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle email correspondence, with good written communication skills
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, with an ability to multitask
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with a focus on data organization and document creation
• Experience in order entry, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders
• Ability to manage scheduling tasks, demonstrating good time management and organizational skills
