Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,701 per week in Portsmouth, NH

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30 - 16:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must be state licensed in New Hampshire Certifications: ACLS/BLS, RT or RCIS Certification Must-Have: RCIS certification within 1 year of hire, Cath Lab experience is preferred; mandatory for travel staff Job Description: - Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations; weekday call from 16:00 to 07:30 the next morning, and weekend call from 16:00 on Friday until 07:30 on Monday. - Most staff work 10-hour shifts; shifts may vary. - Work in a multi-bed unit with 4 holding beds, 4 observation beds, and 3 procedural rooms. - Collaborate in a team of 3 per procedural room patient and support 2 patients per nurse in holding areas (not applicable to techs). - Engage with unit staffing of unit coordinators, RCIS/Tech staff, and RNs, totaling about 9-10 members scheduled daily. - Operate equipment including GE X-ray system, GE hemodynamics, and utilize Meditech documentation systems. - Schedule requirements include working 5 days per week (8-hour days) and being available for call approximately 10 days per month. - Floating may be required if there are no cases, though this occurrence is rare. - Perform procedures including cardiac catheterizations, PCI, STEMI, peripheral angiograms & interventions, implanting PPM/ICD/CRT-D, and executing EP studies & ablations. - Follow a dress code with scrubs provided.
