Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,701 per week in Portsmouth, NH

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30-16:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State licensed in New Hampshire Certifications: ACLS/BLS, RCIS Certification Must-Have: RCIS within 1 year of hire, ACLS/BLS, Cath Lab experience Job Description: - Weekday call is from 16:00 to 07:30 the next morning with weekend call starting at 16:00 on Friday until 07:30 on Monday - Most staff work 10-hour shifts, with varying shifts - The unit has 4 holding beds, 4 observation beds, and 3 procedural rooms - Patient ratios vary depending on whether you are in the procedural room or holding area - Must be able to work well within a team; procedural teams consist of 3 people per patient - Familiarity with GE x-ray system, GE hemodynamics, and Meditech documentation is preferred - Required to work 5 days a week (8-hour days) with approximately 10 calls per month - Floating may be requested if there are no cases, although this is rare - Procedures performed include cardiac caths, PCI, STEMI, peripheral angiograms & interventions, implants PPM/ICD/CRT-D, EP studies & ablations - Scrubs are provided as part of the dress code Candidates must ideally have experience in a cath lab, and for travel staff, this is a requirement.
