Certification Details BLS Job Details Med Surg 3CC RN position at St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center 30 bed unit Nurse:Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6 Common diagnoses include total joint replacement, spinal surgery, urology procedures, abdominal surgery, bariatrics, medical overflow, hemo hemovacs, and JP drains. Job Requirements BLS certification required Prefer surgical experience, post-op, early ambulation experience Must be okay with first-time travelers Schedule Information 0700-1930, 1900-0730 shifts Manager to make schedule Weekend Requirement: every other Holiday Requirement: as needed Floating Requirements: Float to medical and telemetry Unit Specific Information Charge Nurse on each shift, may take a low acuity assignment 1 tech for every 12 patients Remote tele packs and monitor tech available RN does not read their own strips Additional Details Close knit and good culture on the unit Bedside shift report is an expectation RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract) Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions
