Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable seasonal tax preparer to join our team for the upcoming 2025 tax season. In this role, you will prepare clients’ tax filings and assist with year-end accounting as needed. The ideal candidate is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare Individual, Partnership, Corp & S-Corp tax returns
2. Analyze income statements, previous tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income
3. Assist with year-end accounting if necessary
4. Ability to learn Lacerte Tax Software and MS Office Suite (including Excel)

Qualifications

1. Previous experience as a tax preparer for a minimum of 3 years
2. Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
3. EA Preferred
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. QuickBooks experience preferred

Schedule

1. Monday through Friday 8 hours; Saturdays 6 hours
2. Overtime as needed
