Job Summary
We are a growing CPA firm seeking a knowledgeable Seasonal CPA/ Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. In this role, you will prepare clients’ tax filings, assist with year end accounting and make sound financial decisions. The ideal candidate is a CPA, is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Individual, Partnership, Corp, S-Corp tax preparation
- Assist with bookkeeping as needed
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Work experience as a tax preparer for a minimum of 3 years.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- CPA License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to learn Lacerte Tax Software. MS Office Suite (to include Excel); familiar with general bookkeeping standards and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to produce accurate work.
