Randstad USA is hiring: Warehouse Supervisor in San Jose

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, and scheduling shifts.
  • Ensure that all employees are adhering to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Motivate the team to achieve set targets and maintain high levels of productivity.
• Inventory Control:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Organize stock in the warehouse efficiently to ensure easy accessibility and prevent damage.
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Oversee and optimize all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure the proper use of warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
  • Ensure products are stored according to their type and handling requirements.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce warehouse safety regulations and procedures, ensuring all team members use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and other local safety laws.
  • Inspect warehouse equipment and facilities for safety hazards and report or address them promptly.
• Quality Control:
  • Ensure that products are picked, packed, and shipped correctly to meet quality standards.
  • Review and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing items.
• Customer Service:
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers, working closely with the logistics team.
  • Address any customer-related issues, such as order discrepancies, damages, or returns.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, orders processed, and staffing.
  • Ensure proper documentation for goods receipt, storage, and dispatch is maintained in compliance with company policies.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Shift: First

Work Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Education: No Degree Required

Essential Functions:
