As part of this exciting growth, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our new team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the seamless flow of inventory, from receipt to shipment, while maintaining an organized and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Shipment Receiving: Verify incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and label inventory appropriately.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS), conduct cycle counts, and assist with inventory replenishment and restocking.
- Order Fulfillment: Retrieve, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and secure packaging.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment for loading, unloading, and transferring goods.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep aisles, shelves, and storage areas clean and organized, maintaining an efficient and safe work environment.
- Shipping Coordination: Prepare shipping labels and documentation, consolidate packed orders, and arrange shipments via various carriers.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years in warehouse operations, logistics, or transportation, with experience in a coordinating or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using WMS systems, Microsoft Office suite, and computer-based inventory tools.
- Equipment Skills: Forklift certification and material handling equipment experience preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and management.
- Organizational Abilities: Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Strength: Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Endurance: Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Dexterity: Agility to navigate tight spaces and operate equipment safely.
- Environmental Tolerance: Comfortable working in varied temperature and weather conditions, as well as noisy and fast-paced environments.
