• Warehousing
• Order Filling, Picking, and Packing
• Inventory Management
• Dispatch
• Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is an exciting and critical role that oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Select products and assemble customer orders in preparation for final check and delivery.
• Prepare pallets for shipping with appropriate labeling information.
• Receive products and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Ensure that the warehouse is properly staffed during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by management.
• Ensure that all floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock, and dumpster areas are clean, neat, and free of any debris; ensure workplace safety.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Five to eight years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.
