JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager is an exciting and critical role that oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Select products and assemble customer orders in preparation for final check and delivery.
- Prepare pallets for shipping with appropriate labeling information.
- Receive products and ensure delivery accuracy.
- Ensure that the warehouse is properly staffed during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by management.
- Ensure that all floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock, and dumpster areas are clean, neat, and free of any debris; ensure workplace safety.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five to eight years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize individual and staff workloads to meet deadlines.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers (management, coworkers, and suppliers).
