Position: Warehouse Customer Service Associate

Position reports into the Warehouse Manager

Location: Chicago, IL 60614

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00 An Hour

The Warehouse Customer Service Associate will provide service to customers at the warehouse. This includes working with other departments and the warehouse to schedule and maintain orders to customers that will be picked up or delivered. Communicates with internal personnel regarding the completion of customer transactions and the resolution of customer questions or problems. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner, and be a highly motivated individual who is eager to accept additional responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Greet customers coming into the warehouse.
  2. Schedule and maintain Tag and Hold orders and Customer Pick-ups.
  3. Schedule Van Deliveries.
  4. Weekly review of Open Orders Report and update orders as needed to fulfill the sales cycle.
  5. Help Warehouse Manager answer Slack Channel and emails.
  6. Assist with Warehouse SOPs and NetSuite Transition.
  7. Help with Bin Accuracy Reports and Audits.
  8. Coordinate with Inventory Manager and Customer Service the delivery of goods to customers, ensuring goods in stock are provided promptly to customers who are picking up their purchases.
  9. Contribute to the team effort by assisting others as needed. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  2. High school diploma or GED required.
  3. Experience with Excel is a plus.
  4. Able to read and understand English.
