The selected candidate will apply their skills in design in order to develop and support our Design it Right initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format.

The duties assigned to this senior engineering position will include the following:

1. Participate on a team of Hardware Design engineers to design, develop, and deploy Test Solutions, including Test Stations and Integrated Test Adapters (ITAs).
2. Engage in up-front program activities, including strategy and planning, Design For Testability (DFT), test hardware design, integration, debug, verification, validation, sell-off, and support.
3. Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives with peers and Operations counterparts to establish and refine test development practices and approaches for the department.

It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
2. Experience with product development and support of electronics equipment
3. Solid fundamentals of digital/analog/power/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standards
4. Understanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologies
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
6. Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
7. Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
8. Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
9. Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

1. Experienced in using RF test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)
2. Experience in systems analysis of test requirements and solution implementations
3. Experience with Test Software development and/or integration
4. Experienced writing test code to support digital, RF or optical testing
5. Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB) design using Cadence tools
6. Experience using NI LabWindows and TestStand
7. Experience in factory production test stands, problem isolation, and resolution
8. Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes
9. Experience with FPGA designs
10. Experience with Electronic Warfare systems or high power RF software defined radio (SDR) hardware
11. Knowledge of memory interfaces such as DDR, QSPI
12. Knowledge of data transfer protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, JESD 204, I2C, JTAG
13. Active DOD security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92,290 - $156,860. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
