Description

The Corporate Recruiter will work with Human Resources to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent. This position is responsible for meeting hiring goals through sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Responsible for managing the overall candidate interview, selection and closing process.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related discipline with at least three (3) years of full cycle recruiting experience. Insurance experience a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the full cycle recruiting process through candidate sourcing, research, identification, outreach, interviewing, selection, and placement
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
  • Schedules interviews and assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and other human resources team members regarding start dates and other pertinent details
  • Coordinates candidate logistics and interview schedules
  • Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to collect feedback
  • Collaborates with department heads to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Maintain and update job descriptions
  • Posts current job openings on various platforms
  • Maintain applicant tracking data and applicable recruitment files
  • Maintain pipeline of viable candidates and candidate sources, including sources that reinforce the organization’s commitment to diversity
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employment agencies and other outside vendors
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
