Role Summary

A Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding. This role is essential for aligning an organization’s hiring strategies with its long-term business goals. The recruiter will develop talent pipelines for critical roles, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified candidates for positions across different functions, including technical, operational, and sales roles. By working closely with department leaders, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter contributes to shaping the company’s workforce through proactive talent mapping and strategic recruitment efforts.

This role often involves enhancing the employer brand, attracting top talent through innovative recruitment methods, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The recruiter must be adept at utilizing various sourcing tools, managing full cycle recruiting processes, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet immediate and future hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter plays a pivotal role in building a workforce that aligns with the company's culture, values, and strategic objectives.

What You’ll be Doing

  1. Lead full cycle recruiting for multiple roles across sales, manufacturing, and technical positions, with ownership over the entire process.
  2. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies that align with business goals.
  3. Source candidates through a variety of channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, etc.), ensuring proactive engagement and creativity in finding top talent.
  4. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline, anticipating future hiring needs.
  5. Conduct screenings and interviews, using discretion and judgment to assess the best candidates for both role fit and cultural alignment.
  6. Ensure a positive candidate experience by owning communication, feedback loops, and a smooth onboarding process.
  7. Develop employer branding initiatives, taking the lead on strategies that position the company as an employer of choice.
  8. Manage the company’s LinkedIn profile, posting job openings, engaging with potential candidates, and enhancing the company’s online presence.
  9. Utilize ATS and other recruiting tools, with the freedom to refine and optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and leverage that knowledge to inform recruiting strategies and provide insights to hiring managers.
  11. Lead recruitment marketing campaigns, ensuring that efforts are aligned with company goals and tailored to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
  12. Ensure compliance with employment laws and proactively address any legal or policy concerns in the hiring process.
  13. Participate in career fairs and own the responsibility of representing the company to potential candidates.
  14. Collaborate with the HR team on diversity and inclusion efforts, ensuring a diverse candidate pipeline while contributing to a broader company culture of inclusion.
  15. Use data and analytics to drive decisions and continuously improve the recruitment process, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  16. Negotiate offers with confidence, ensuring that the final offer aligns with company goals while being attractive to the candidate.
  17. Take full ownership of the recruiting function, from sourcing through to onboarding, acting as a trusted advisor to both candidates and the business.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Recruitment Expertise: Strong experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within both sales and manufacturing sectors, to handle a diverse range of roles effectively.
  2. Strategic Mindset: Ability to align recruitment efforts with the company’s long-term talent needs and contribute to workforce planning.
  3. Sourcing Skills: Proficiency in using multiple sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to find and attract top talent.
  4. Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage candidates, hiring managers, and external vendors.
  5. Technology Savvy: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn management, and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  6. Agency and Initiative: A self-starter who can take ownership of the recruiting function with autonomy, driving the process with confidence and minimal oversight.
  7. Collaboration and Relationship Building: Ability to work effectively with hiring managers, HR, leadership, and external partners to ensure smooth and successful recruitment processes.
  8. Data-Driven Approach: Comfort with using recruitment metrics and analytics to measure success, optimize recruitment strategies, and report progress to leadership.
  9. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing hiring needs, market conditions, or company growth plans.
  10. Employer Branding: Skills in promoting the company’s culture and brand to attract high-quality candidates, especially through managing the company’s LinkedIn profile.
  11. Diversity and Inclusion Focus: Experience or understanding of diversity recruitment strategies to ensure a diverse candidate pool that aligns with company goals.
  12. Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate offers that meet both company goals and candidate expectations while fostering a positive relationship.
  13. Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods, occasionally lift or carry office supplies and equipment under 20 pounds, and have the vision and hearing capability to effectively use a computer and communicate with colleagues and clients in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels and standard office equipment.
