Position Summary

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with leadership to craft and execute stellar recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Be the problem-solving guru for complex HR matters, like investigations and terminations.
  • Lead the charge on hiring top talent and refining compensation and benefits programs.
  • Develop exciting training initiatives to grow our team from within.
  • Ensure we're always in compliance with ever-changing laws and regulations (bonus points if you actually enjoy this part).

Compensation & Benefits

  • $85,000 - $95,000 per year (depending on level of experience)
  • Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
  • Various voluntary insurance benefits including short-term disability, life and ad&d, critical illness, accident.
  • Paid Time Off: Accrue up to 15 days per year

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or an equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

Preferred Qualities & Characteristics

  • Must have strong communication skills which aid in employee relations advice and counsel and relaying HR policies and procedures.
  • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in confrontational situations.
  • Must have strong presentation skills in front of large audiences.
  • Must be organized with the ability to maintain excellent records.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with great initiative.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, solid judgment, poise, maturity, personal integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful and supportive relationships regardless of a person's race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, cultural background, national origin, or any other component of diversity.
  • Excellent ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and a positive disposition.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Proficient with Google products.
