The Role

Our Travel & Hospitality consulting practice is looking for a Manager Consulting to join our journey. We're looking for someone with expertise in working with hotel clients to transform and grow their customer-facing operations and internal systems. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building client relationships and supporting the growth of our practice.

We're looking for Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development.

Responsibilities

• Be onsite at the client location in Seattle, WA 4 days/week.
• Serve as the Engagement Lead and manage teams of Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers for commercial projects.
• Support business development activities, coordinate resources, and provide guidance to team members.
• Lead client workshops and support business analysis interviews.
• Monitor and supervise the daily activities of project staff.
• Ensure collaboration of consulting teams to support project requirements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of colleagues.
• Guide development and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop and manage the sharing of intellectual property and project artifacts.
• Support the establishment of thought leadership in the industry.
• Mentors and supports the career development of promising candidates and interns.

Qualifications

• Strong Product Owner skills including backlog grooming, refinement, and sprint planning.
• Manages technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within broader projects.
• Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders.
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Identifies, manages, and mitigates risks on technology projects.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Consulting acumen to support business development initiatives.

Other Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of eight years related work experience as a product owner.
• Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required.
• Airline domain knowledge is a must.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $158,000 depending on experience and other qualifications.
