The company builds strong relationships with employees, customers, and vendors alike. Triad Metals is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) at our Columbia City, Indiana location.

A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is a qualified professional who is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of welding standards.

Successful Candidates will be expected to

• Ensure that welds and materials meet industry standards and specifications
• Review and approve welding procedures, and verify that welders comply with safety requirements
• Communicate findings to welders and other stakeholders
• Coordinate inspections with regulatory bodies
• Develop, implement, and oversee quality programs and measures
• Document inspection results accurately and precisely
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Review contract requirements and vendor/contract compliance
• Ensure that safety and environmental policies and procedures are being learned and followed
• Follow all safety and operating instructions
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Required Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of welding-related experience
• D.1.5 certification is required
