Responsibilities
About This Position
In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates the plan of care with the health care team. Assumes a leadership role for unit personnel to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. In addition to these major responsibilities, the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- ADN
- Current California Registered Nurse license - RN.
- Current approved health care provider CPR certification - BLS.
- Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 6 months of employment.
- PALS - within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years or greater recent periop experience as circulating and/or scrubbing RN, or clinical nursing in Tele, CCU, or ED.
- Experience as RN in CVOR, Ortho, Neuro, General, Robotics, GYN, Advanced Endoscopy, Hybrid procedures, and urology highly preferred.
- BSN
- CRNFA, CNOR, ATLS, ONC, CFPN, CPPS, CV-BC, and/or CCRN
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Pay Range
$52.87 - $78.89 /hour
