Job Overview
The Vice President of Donated Goods Retail will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and operational excellence of our retail division. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of retail locations, donation centers, warehouses, transportation, recycling, aftermarket sales, e-commerce, and the Outlet Store.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the division and engage with various stakeholders.
- Provide analytical leadership to monitor retail performance, driving initiatives to maximize profitability and operational improvements.
- Mentor the retail team to establish and accomplish both short- and long-term objectives.
- Supervise managerial staff to achieve revenue and expense targets, conducting regular financial performance assessments.
- Collaborate with retail leaders to enhance product merchandising and achieve sales goals.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with transportation and warehouse teams to align with retail operational needs.
- Implement security measures to safeguard company assets and minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate with the COO to formulate strategies for retail expansion and oversee the opening of new stores.
- Stay updated on regulations governing the sale of secondhand goods and participate in relevant training sessions.
