This Retail Supervisor Job Is for You, If You Enjoy:

Assisting the General Manager and Operational Managers in managing the team members and the daily operation of our stores and providing an amazing customer service experience to our customers.

Your Team is counting on you as a Retail Supervisor to:

1. Provide flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends & holidays
2. Work a full-time schedule
3. Oversee multiple team members
4. Provide staff training and coaching with team members on a daily basis
5. Conduct store opening/closing/shift change procedures
6. Perform all cash register preparation, float verifications, spot checks, verification of end-of-shift cash reconciliations, void processing, and deposits
7. Ensure that daily counts on cigarettes, phone cards, newspapers, and other items as required are conducted and that any discrepancies are reported
8. Ensure that staff report to work on time, dressed in clean full uniform, including nametags
9. Ensure that all staff tardiness and absences are reported to management
10. Ensure customers are greeted promptly and served by knowledgeable, well-trained associates
11. Demonstrate effective management of customer queuing
12. Ensure that sales associates are assigned daily duties and are aware of daily sales targets and procedural changes
13. Have an in-depth knowledge of products sold and ensure replenishment and proper rotation of stock on the sales floor
14. Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained (i.e. dusting, folding, replacement of burnt light bulbs, sweeping, mopping)
15. Maintain an ever-vigilant theft and shoplifting awareness and enforce cash register and other policies controlling internal shrink

Required Qualifications:

1. Ability to manage, consult, and help plan daily activities with General Manager, Operations Manager, and other Supervisors
2. One or more years working as a supervisor in a retail setting
3. Experience working in a retail setting
4. Provides supervision and support to store staff
5. Works with on-site sales representatives
6. Approachable and interactive leadership qualities
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
8. Good time-management skills and multi-tasking abilities
9. Good problem-solving skills
10. High School Diploma or equivalent
