Phlebotomist - Primary Care Medical Office

MUST:

1. 5+ years of experience as a phlebotomist
2. Certified as a phlebotomist or must have a phlebotomy diploma
3. Experience working in a high volume setting with 50+ patients per day
4. Experienced working with geriatric patients
5. Strong documentation skills in EMR and Lab Software
6. Labeling vials
7. Reviewing patient information and verifying accuracy
8. Experience processing labs
9. Enter lab work into computer software

DUTIES:

1. Draw blood on 50+ patients per day including geriatric patients
2. Label specimens
3. Update patient information in Lab software system
4. Clean and stock exams rooms
5. Ensure all related labs and reports are entered into patients charts and EMR System
6. Provide instructions to patients as needed
