USC’s Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, has an Administrative Assistant II position available in the Division of Medical Oncology. This position will assist faculty members and the research lab team under the direction of Dr. Saul Priceman. This position will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of a wide range of diverse administrative tasks, projects, and processes that support the faculty members and operations of the research team.
The position will cover tasks including calendar management, processing reimbursements, distributing faxes, purchasing/ordering office supplies, and lab supplies.
A percentage of this role will be dedicated to basic administrative projects, including assisting in the establishment of operational procedures and facilities management of the office and lab of Dr. Saul Priceman.
The ideal candidate must have excellent skills in organization, communication, writing, time management, with strong attention to detail, interpersonal relations, task prioritization, and the ability to work independently. A strong background in operations is preferred.
The position will be a full-time (totaling 40 hours a week) position.
Rate Information:
This position will be Non-exempt and On-Site.
The hourly rate range for this position is $25.00 to $31.24.

Preferred Education: B.A/B.S.
Preferred Experience: Administration or Project Management.
Preferred Field of Expertise: Combined administrative or project management experience in a university environment, preferably USC.

Additional Education Requirements: Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
Minimum Experience: 3 years.
Minimum Skills: Secretarial or specialized clerical and administrative experience.
