VICE PRESIDENT, PEOPLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources leader to join our team as Vice President, People, based in our New York City office. As Vice President, People, you will drive Elevate's global People & Culture strategy, working closely with leaders across all People Operations functions and partnering with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Your role will be crucial in shaping the company's human capital strategy, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and enhancing employee-focused initiatives. COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in San Francisco, New York City, Charlotte, or Nashville. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources leader to join our team as Vice President, People, based in our New York City office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Total Rewards Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and performance management, that aligns with the company's business goals.
- Oversee the evaluation and administration of executive compensation, incentive programs, salary structures, and equity-based rewards.
- Ensure competitiveness of compensation packages by benchmarking against industry standards and conducting regular market analyses.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they meet both employee needs and organizational goals.
- Provide oversight and governance for employee benefits, including health, wellness, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Develop and maintain pay structures and systems that align with legal regulations, industry standards, and internal equity.
Employee Relations:
- Act as the senior-level point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring resolution of conflicts, grievances, and complaints while maintaining a positive and legally compliant work environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams and managers on issues related to employee relations, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Develop and enforce policies and programs that promote fair and consistent treatment of employees.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, and other federal/state regulations.
- Mitigate risks related to HR practices by implementing policies and procedures that ensure legal compliance and ethical decision-making.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of HR audits, risk assessments, and legal updates.
HR Leadership & Team Development:
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote alignment between HR strategy and overall business objectives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of business operations and serve as a key advisor to leadership on workforce-related initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 10+ years of overall HR experience, with a focus on Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Relations.
- Must have proven international/global HR experience
- Must have experience leading HR integration initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, system consolidations, etc.
- 10+ years progressive leadership experience in Human Resources building and leading a HR team.
- Experience creating scalable, innovative, and creative solutions serving the needs of a growing business
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, benefits design, employee relations and strategic planning.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on team development and employee engagement.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture vision with operational execution.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and experience ensuring HR compliance.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
