What You'll Do. THE ROLE: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CEO
The Executive Assistant will provide support to our CEO and Leadership Team. This role organizes all aspects of this executive's professional life including complex calendaring, travel management, expense reconciliation, meeting and event coordination, meeting briefs, and requires best-in-class executive support. A proactive attitude and the ability to deliver consistently within a values-driven company with frequently evolving priorities is crucial to the role. You will also be the liaison between the CEO and Leadership Team + All EMJ Employees; therefore, the ability to make decisions and work independently with limited direction while retaining an efficiency and process focused mindset will be key.
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the CEO. Opportunities for new experiences to demonstrate leadership and growth are limitless.

LOCATION: Mill Valley, CA (Hybrid: Mon/Tues/Thurs in Office, Wed/Fri Remote)
HOURS: Full Time, Exempt, Salaried

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXECUTIVE SUPPORT
- Handle sensitive/complex calendar and email management like a pro
- Seamlessly manage logistics and strategic coordination of meetings across multiple locations and time zones
- Strategic thought-partner on internal operational initiatives that drive efficiency and accountability
- Lead project management and communication for CEO directives
- Manage travel arrangements with impeccable attention to detail (cost, comfort, and productivity)
- Prepare both routine and confidential spreadsheets, reports, presentations and other complex documents in Excel/PowerPoint; Research and aggregate/consolidate information into summary reports
- Reconcile credit card statements and submit expense reports for the Executive as well as manage other related budgets/expenses
- Host executive's visitors, clients and vendors
- Perform administrative work responsibly and in a timely manner, exercising considerable independence and sound judgment in making decisions
- Ensure the executive(s) has appropriate meals planned, tackling everything from delivery/pick-up to reservations
LEADERSHIP TEAM (LT)
- Own, attend and participate in LT meetings: manage agenda, notes, and follow-up on key deliverables coming out of meeting
- Schedule, plan for and execute Board meetings and events + liaise with BOD EAs on travel logistics/coordination for BOD members
- Plan, execute, and manage agenda for all LT off-sites
- Pulse check on team/key leaders and advise on potential concerns accordingly
CULTURE
- Manage business content and materials for Company Offsite, assisting with planning initiatives as needed, including site selection, meal/activity planning, logistics and budget with P&E
- Partner with the People + Environment & Culture Club to provide feedback, support and guidance as needed

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- 5-8 years of applicable experience as an Executive Assistant supporting executives at the C-level
- Tech savvy with excellent computer skills + experience (Macs/PCs, MS package, G suite, Zoom)
- Professional communication skills - listening, verbal and written
- Proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure and consistently meet or beat deadlines
- A natural problem solver at heart with a genuine interest in learning by helping
- Incredibly bright, high-energy individual, with a passion to learn, contribute and take initiative
- Must have a positive, professional demeanor and a can-do attitude
- Flexible and composed under pressure
- Ability to work independently and execute projects with minimal direction
