License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Job Description:

- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized, evidence-based clinical care. - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics. - Partner with patients and their significant others to focus on patient-centered care goals. - Practice using current clinical standards to ensure safe, quality patient care. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of patient care through effective interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation. - Demonstrate teamwork by promoting recruitment and retention of healthcare team members. - Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance processes. - Complete professional competency assessments and required education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. - Uphold all legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. - Participate in data collection and consult experts for evidence-based practice. - Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum. - Collaborate in developing protocols to achieve best practice outcomes. - Support efficient resource use.
