Cheshire will not consider "Local Travelers" (those who reside within 50 miles of facility). Covid vaccinations strongly recommended, but not required. This traveler will provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life span, utilizing knowledge of age related growth and development to individualize the nursing process in accordance with the nursing philosophy and objectives, the Standards of care, and the Standards of practice. Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after. As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Facility requires training from one of the following groups for onboarding and clearance: CPI, AVADE or MOAB. Cover page (if available/not required) Work History License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and NRP).
