Senior Performance Max Campaigns Executive
to join our Performance Marketing team at Wego, a leading travel website/app. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing
Google Performance Max campaigns
to drive customer acquisition, revenue, and engagement across multiple Google properties. As part of the performance marketing team, you will leverage the power of Google's machine learning and automation tools to maximize ROI on campaigns, increase bookings, and drive sustained growth for our travel offerings. Key Responsibilities: Performance Max Campaign Management:
Develop, implement, and optimize Google
Performance Max
campaigns that align with business objectives and drive measurable results for the company (e.g., user acquisition, bookings, revenue).
Set up and manage Performance Max campaigns for the goal of
conversions , and
e-commerce . Ensure optimal account structure and campaign settings.
Help the team manage campaigns that span multiple Google properties, such as
Search ,
Display ,
YouTube ,
Gmail , and
Discover , utilizing the unified Performance Max platform to reach potential customers at every touchpoint.
Implement and optimize smart bidding strategies (e.g., Target CPA, Target ROAS) to maximize ROI while managing the campaign budget effectively. Allocate spend across various channels based on performance and business goals.
Optimization and Performance Analysis:
Monitor campaign performance regularly, making data-driven adjustments to ad creatives, targeting, bidding, and budget allocation to improve
key performance indicators (KPIs)
such as
click-through rate (CTR) ,
conversion rate ,
cost per acquisition (CPA) , and
return on ad spend (ROAS) .
Run A/B tests on various ad creatives, headlines, images, and descriptions to optimize the impact of Performance Max campaigns. Ensure creative assets are tailored to target different customer segments effectively.
Analyze campaign performance using Google Ads and looker to provide actionable insights. Prepare regular performance reports for internal teams, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Use first-party data, audience insights, and remarketing strategies to refine targeting and optimize campaigns for higher engagement and conversions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales, product, and hotel teams to ensure campaign messaging aligns with current offers, seasonal promotions, and product launches.
Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on campaign performance, budget usage, and strategic recommendations for optimization.
Collaborate and work closely with the SEM team to make sure that the Performance Max campaigns are complementing the search ads for different products.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital marketing and Google Ads innovations, particularly
Performance
Max , to leverage new features and strategies.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust campaign strategies to stay ahead of market trends in the travel industry.
Feed and Data Management: Ensure that product and booking feeds (e.g., hotel listings, travel packages) are accurate and optimized for
Google Merchant Center
and Google Ads, ensuring that all listings are up-to-date and relevant.
Use Google’s machine learning capabilities to fine-tune audience targeting, leveraging customer behavior data and remarketing lists to ensure that ads are shown to the right customers at the right time.
Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience managing
Google Ads
campaigns, with at least 2 years specifically focused on
Performance Max
campaigns.
Proven success in managing large-scale
Performance Max
or cross-channel campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes (e.g., bookings, conversions, ROAS) in the
travel
or
e-commerce
industries.
Experience working with
smart bidding strategies
(e.g., Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximize Conversions) and leveraging Google’s machine learning tools to optimize campaign performance.
Skills: Deep knowledge of Google Ads platform, including advanced understanding of
Performance Max , smart bidding, and campaign optimization techniques.
Advanced skills in using
Google Ads
reporting tools and
Google Analytics
to track performance, analyze trends, and generate actionable insights.
Familiarity with
Google Search ,
Google Display Network ,
YouTube ,
Gmail , and other Google platforms, with experience in managing campaigns across these channels within the Performance Max environment.
